It’s time to get started with Project #4 in the Christmas Present CAL!  Remember when I shared a photo on my Facebook page and in the group of the Sweet Roll Cake that I received from Premier Yarns the other day? It was really exciting to sit down and start playing with the yarn to see what type of design I could make.  It was agreed upon that I would design and hat and scarf….so off I went.  I had never played with the long color changing yarn in a worsted weight, so I wasn’t sure what it would do….but I really did love the look of it once I finished the projects.

I think definitely one of the “perks” of using the Sweet Roll Yarn is the color scheme is already picked out for you!  Sometimes I’m just not sure if “this” color really matches “that” color and end up not buying them but with the Sweet Roll…..it’s as simple as saying to yourself, “Oh, that looks so pretty” and adding them to your cart!

You’ll love all the variety and coordination of the colors too.  They are amazing and really allow the beauty of the yarn to shine through each stitch!

Supply List:

• Premier Sweet Roll, 140 grams/245 yards, #4 Worsted weight, 100% Acrylic, Peaches and Cream Pop
• I Hook/5.5 mm
• Tapestry needle for weaving in the ends.

Here's a hint.  I did the hat and scarf using ONE skein of the Sweet Roll!  Once the pattern comes out next week and you finish the hat, just set the yarn aside and you'll have enough to make the scarf you see below.  Unless, of course, you want a wider scarf then you may need to get two!
