It’s time to kick off Day 26 of the “Make it for Me” projects! You’ve survived the holidays and now It’s Time for You! For the entire month of January, I will bring you FREE patterns from amazing designers in the crochet industry. One of the great parts of “Make it for Me” is the designer will tell you exactly what that project means to him/her and why it is considered perfect for you too! Take a few minutes to check it out and decide if this crochet pattern is the one that you’ll dedicate to make for yourself. If this is your first time here, you can find out the details about how “Make it for Me” works HERE.
Wendy from The Hooked Haberdasher has an incredible sense of style! Her designs are so unique and in fashion. She thought her Houndstooh at Large Scarf was the perfect “Make it for Me” project. She said, “I love houndstooth! As a little girl, being taught to crochet by my dear grandmothers, we made placemats for the dining table with this pattern technique. I absolutely love the large houndstooth patterned fabric created with this technique and pattern. The Houndstooth at Large Scarf pattern is very easily modified in width and length. I wanted a very wide and long scarf, which could also double as a shawl – I like versatile patterns, don’t you? So if you follow the pattern as written with no modifications, the results are just that – wide, long, and versatile. I hope you enjoy this pattern and would love to see your finished “Make it for Me” project too! Be sure to upload it to your Ravelry Project page linking it to my pattern!”
