I wanted this Saturday’s Crochet Show to have a little twist. Sometimes when we go to Ravelry, we see “What’s Hot Right Now” and you get a glimpse of what everyone likes for the moment. I can tell you from experience, it doesn’t take long before you are no longer on the front or even second page. What’s interesting to me though is a specific pattern can still draw a lot of attention. I asked designers to tell me their most popular FREE pattern on their blog, so here ya go!
It’s no surprise that Moogly’s top pattern is the ASIS infinity scarf, but did you know that it surprised Moogly too? She said, “I loved the finished project, but I didn’t anticipate how much others would as well!” Funny how that happens…..you just never know!
Sara from My Merry Messy Life’s most popular pattern is the sweet and precious baby headband. I can sure see why can’t you? It’s so dainty and the stitching is perfect.
Cre8tion Crochet’s most popular free pattern is this stunning cowl/shrug and is nothing more than pure elegance. Love it!
Need a baby girl’s hat because this one is the most popular for My Hobby is Crochet! Probably one of the most favorite parts about Kinga’s patterns is she has tutorials. Thanks for taking so much time to help the fellow crocheter Kinga!
If you thought Posh Pooch Designs only designed cute doggie projects….you’d be wrong. There are all sorts of goodies on her blog and this is her most popular. It’s a sock monkey cozy and would perfect for the little one to carry around! Love it!
Look at Trifles N Treasure’s most popular! Such a sweet and precious Bonny Bunny Surprise, and I can see a little one opening it up to see what’s waiting inside. Such creativity Tera!
You can’t have a “Most Popular” Saturday show without an afghan! Kim Guzman designed this gorgeous personalized afghan. A project like this is an heirloom in my opinion. I know how much love and effort went into this type of project. It’s a great discovery on today’s show! Thanks for all your talent Kim and sharing it with others.
So many times we start projects because of the people we love. Kara from Petals to Picots did the same thing when she designed these Crochet Flower Face cleansing pads. She made them for her daughters and decided to share with us. Yep…..it’s now her most popular!
It doesn’t get better than to see a precious baby wearing such a cute little hat like Katie’s Crochet Goodies sock monkey hat! I would imagine many crocheters could sell these to photographers all day long. Who wouldn’t want this precious hat right?
I’ve actually made the Rina hat from Pattern Paradise and can see why it gets the most attention. Maria does an excellent job of ensuring you with a great pattern to match this perfect looking hat. It was easy and very fun to make. Thanks for always giving great patterns Maria!
Here’s another great headband pattern and deserves to be Beatrice Ryan Designs most popular. She has an Amazing Grace line of patterns dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness. I’ve not made the head band but did make the Amazing Grace Snoodie and LOVED how it turned out. Gorgeous stitch and well deserving of your time!
Oh the endless possibilities with the headband designed by Simply Collectible Crochet. I would imagine it’s Celina’s most popular because it doesn’t seem like it would take very long to make. A new mom wanting to take her baby girl out on a stroll needs a variety of headbands. It’s simply precious.
Another quick and cute project and KT and the Squid’s most popular is her bow design. I can see all the different colors used on hats, headbands, etc. Great job Katy and no doubt I can see why it’s #1!
Do you want to learn how to make a hexagon granny square blanket? I guess lots of people do because this is Jessie At Home’s most popular project. I love how Jessie gives you so many photos for the fans to really understand what she’s doing in the project. Well deserved #1 project Jessie.
By the way, have you seen Jessie’s other project? She designed the In Love Throw for Red Heart Yarn and did a video tutorial for this project! Go check it out!
I hope you enjoyed today’s show! See ya next week! Be blessed.
