It’s always fun to add a complimentary design to one I’ve already made. I think it’s fun to have some matching sets don’t you? Since I designed the Creek Bend Beanie using the stash given to me by Michael’s, I thought it was fun to once again go back to the box and find another great skein. I decided to use another color for the Creek Bend Scarf. What do you think? I really love this colorway!

Supplies:
- Loops and Threads Barcelona, #5 Bulky Weight, 100% Acyrlic, 328 yards/200g, Colorway: Opulance I used basically the entire skein of yarn.
- Hook Size: K/6.5mm
- Tapestry Needle for Weaving in the ends.
Abbreviations:
ch – chain
flo – front loop only
rem – remaining
sc – single crochet
sp(s) – space(s)
Gauge: Not important for this project.
Finished Measurement: 59″ x 6 1/2″
Notes:
- Ch 1 in the first st is not considered the first sc in the pattern.
- Ch 3 is considered the first st in the row. You can also use the alternative to the chain 3 if you want to try out a new technique. I think you’ll love it.
Special Stitch:
Special Single Cluster Crochet: (sscc) Insert hook into st, YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through one loop, insert hook in front loop only in round below, YO, pull up a loop, YO pull through 2 loops, insert hook back in same sp, YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through all 3 remaining loops. Row 1: Ch 21, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch and each rem ch across, turn. (20 sc)
Row 2: Ch 3, (See Pattern Notes), dc in next st and each rem st across, turn. (20 dc)
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first st, sc in flo in next st and each rem st across until the last st, sc in top of ch 3, turn. (20 sc).
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first st, *sscc (See Special Stitches) in next st, ch 1, skip next st, repeat from * across until last st, sc in last st, turn. 9 sscc, 2 sc, 9 ch-1 sps)
Row 5: Ch 1, sc in first st, sc in next ch-1 sp, *sc in next st, sc in next ch-1 sp, repeat from * across, turn. (20 sc)
Row 6: Ch 1, sc in first st, sc in next st and each rem st across, turn. (20 sc)
Repeat Rows 3-6 until you have reached your desired length.
