When I started the Christmas Present CAL, I had no idea it would be as much fun and turn out this great! I’m really glad I’ve listened to “you” in deciding what projects would make it to the CAL. This project is no different because it will finish up the hat, scarf and mittens set we’ve worked on the since the CAL has started. Yep….Boot cuffs made it to the list and is our upcoming project that starts on October 19th! In case you are new to the CAL, you can click HERE to see all the previous projects!
For the boot cuffs, it’s really hard to give you a certain yardage but a wonderful designer, Kaleidoscope Arts n Gifts, gave me permission to share a blog post where she has a great graphic on sizing (You’ll have to scroll a little to see it on her blog post). Thank you Lisa!
In my experience, I’ve never needed more than one skein on a boot cuff project but ….there could be the possibility you might need 2 for the Bulky weight project because there are only 129 yard in the Red Heart Infinity. I used 79 yards for my sample and would consider them small to medium if that helps you. I’ve also designed these boot cuffs where you can crochet one part to meet your desired length FIRST then you’ll add the pretty stitch!
