I got out by the pool early this morning with all my necessary supplies and tools. I was determined to complete this Summer Checkers Tote project that I have been working on for nearly 3 1/2 weeks now! I’ve had a love/hate relationship with the project, and I’m so happy to finally be done. I can’t wait to give it to my customer tomorrow!
This bag is a version of the Summer Checkers tote that I made a couple of months ago, but I wanted to try something a little different. I crocheted the 4 different sides separately and crocheted an inner lining making it one single piece to add strength to the tote. I also sc the inner lining so that my customer wouldn’t have to worry about anything falling out! That definitely took some time. I then used plastic canvas and cut it according to the right dimensions and then just put everything together. I don’t plan on publishing this pattern because I didn’t write it out and probably won’t make it again (I’m sure you can understand). I don’t think I could ever get paid what I would really deserve, although I did learn a few things and think I may could make it a little quicker the next time. Well, here are the pictures! Enjoy
