It’s simple enough for a beginner but the advanced crocheter can whip through quickly too! The self-striping of the yarn also gives that added touch to the project don’t you think? I am working on this hat and my stitches look nothing like the picture! The picture looks very interesting and these double crochet stitches I am doing look nothing like the pattern. What am I doing wrong?

Are you talking about the increase rounds or the sc/dc stitches? I am left-handed so your pattern would probably go in the other direction visually but shouldn’t be that big of a difference. The yarn you are using could also be a reason for the different appearance too.

What color of yarn did you use for the simple sweetness hat?
Kathy Lashley says
Angela,
The color # is 0004. Homme Masculino is the colorway. Hope this helps.
