Who would have ever known that a Monday could turn into one of my favorite days. It’s been amazing at the talent that I’ve seen over the last 20 weeks and I’m always in awe of the different variety of projects that come my way on “Making it thru Monday”.
This past week was another amazing week of projects and here are the top two most viewed submissions.
Carolyn from the Purple Poncho had a friend ask her to make a baby hat and like so many crocheters that I know her heart is big. She decided to surprise her friend with a matching blanket and diaper cover! Can you imagine the surprise on her friend’s face when she opens the box to see these incredible cuties waiting on her. There is no greater gift to an expecting mother than something hand-made by a friend. Carolyn is wonderfully talented, so scoot on over to check out her page!
Erica from Zo-Zo’s Space made the other baby hat in the photo. She sat down and just started crocheting with no specific pattern expect the one in her beautiful mind. I believe she did a fantastic job and it turned out perfectly! There were a few people who actually asked about the sweet outfit on the little girl and the pattern is here.
The hat from Erica is only one of her many talents and her Etsy shop is definitely worth a view. She combines her crochet talents with a passion for jewelry and something magical happens. Plus, Erica is an Alabama girl like me, so she has the southern style as an added bonus. You can also check out her Facebook page for inspiration as well.
