UPDATE: June 10, 2015. The Royal Summer Shawl is no longer available for free as it was stated in the original text below that it would be for a limited time only. You may now purchase it in my Etsy Shop!
It’s time for a Royal Summer Shawl! As promised, the pattern will be FREE on the blog for a limited time. How long? Well, I haven’t made up my mind yet but rest assured, I’ll give you heads up before I take it down. ELK Studio fans are great, and I’m honored to have your support! I hope you will enjoy this pattern and show me your finished projects!
Get the PDF pattern on Etsy HERE!
I hope you enjoy the pattern. Have a blessed day!
Kathy
I favored the summer shawl to ravelry, but was unable to download the pattern. Is there something that I need to do. Thanks.
The pattern was not added to Ravelry as a PDF. It is now available as a paid pattern. If I ever do free for a limited time, you could always use the Print Friendly button that’s available in the blog to convert it into a PDF for your records.
Well, boo. I saved it to my library, thinking that was all I needed to do and that I would have access to it, but apparently that wasn’t enough, as it’s now saying I need to purchase it.
Emily,
Since the pattern wasn’t added to Ravelry in a PDF format it didn’t save it in your library. In case I do something like this again, I have the print friendly button which allows you to turn the pattern into a PDF yourself.
Thank you so much for offering this for free (for now). 🙂 I love rectangular shawls the best!!

I’ve saved so many of your beautiful patterns for future use, but there’s always room for one more as lovely as this! Thank you for your generosity in sharing, Kathy.
This is a beautiful shawl, I created a new board just for it on Pinterest: Beautiful Crochet Creation Heirlooms” This shawl would make a perfect gift to give to on a very special occasion. Thank you for sharing this pattern when you could easily sell it. The shawl is beautiful
Wow, this pattern looks great!. I’m not partial to rectangular scarves myself, but inspired by the way this scarf is displayed, I feel a short top coming 🙂 Thanks for that!
