It’s an honor to be the first designer in the “Make it for Me” event! I think it’s quite fitting with such cold temperatures all over the United States that I called this beanie the Frozen Pond. It’s going to take you out of your comfort zone with those double-layered stitches that I’ve used in the Made for the Cold Beanie and It’s So Good You’ll Borrow it Beanie. It’s a pleasure to say that Premier Yarns sponsored today’s MIFM event with a giveaway! Be sure to scroll to the bottom to register.

I really like this pattern and the website. But, I’m having trouble with the special double crochet cluster stitch. My yarn wants to split after I start on the stitch below. I’ve watched the video several times and hope to master this stitch and finish the beanie before warm weather arrives in Dixie!!
