Every month seems to always bring such a warm feeling to know that women from all over the United States come together to meet the needs of other people. Carolyn from The Purple Poncho was the organizer for the event this month. In her local hometown they had a fundraiser to celcbrate St. Baldricks day. I could try and explain it all to you, but she did such a fabulous job breaking it all down in her blog post that it’s definitely worth a few minutes to click over to The Purple Poncho and see the events for the day. She even has a picture of her son getting ready to lose all his hair. By the way Carolyn , he’s a real cutie.
I want to show you the picture of all the hard work that goes into these hats! She received 20 hats, a pair of gloves and after Carolyn’s hard work, she had over 50 hats! I can’t tell you what this group means to me and how honored I am they share in a vision that’s bigger than all of us. It’s truly a blessing to call them my friends.
If you are interested in helping, you can see the ELK Studio – From the Heart Calendar of Events for the upcoming projects and join ELK Studio Crocheter’s Facebook group for more information! Hope to see you there!
Have a great day and be blessed!
Kathy

I crochet for cancer also. Not good at changing colors, your hats are so pretty! Gave me some ideas as adding different colors. Go Bless !
