I had all intentions of making the Dangerously Elegant Shawl a paid pattern after I purchased the Cotton Fair Yarn when Premier had their great yarn sale. As I continued to crochet project, I thought it would be so much fun to just do a Crochet-Along instead. With the response of the picture I posted in the ELK Studio Crocheter’s Facebook group, I think I made the right choice. It always does my heart good to see so much excitement over one of my projects. Thanks for that too. Be sure to scroll all the way down….there is a SURPRISE for you!

Kathy:
I have some grey/white variegated yarn in the correct weight, but I have a total of 1,251 yards. Did you use ALL of the yarn in all 4 balls you note in the materials? I’d really love to use this yarn; it’s been waiting for the perfect project, and I think it would be lovely in this pattern.
Thank you – love your patterns.

What level of experience is this? I am a beginner
Kathy Lashley says
Hi Janet,
I would say between easy to intermediate, but I will be there for you plus have stitch diagrams if you need help. There is one particular stitch that I will try to film if I have time.

I don’t understand how this works. Where do I purchase the yarn and how and when do I follow
Along?
Thanks Robina.

Hi Robina,
I’ll help ya. If you want to use the exact yarn as I did, click on the Premier link within the blog post.(there are a few in there). Choose your yarn and order it. Joining the ELK Studio crocheters FB group is the easiest and most fun way to keep up with the instructions coming out each week. You can work at your own pace. The first part of the instructions come out next week. I hope this helps you.
