I am trying to crochet a boot cuff design I found via pinterest. It has a ripple pattern, I think. I am a crochet and computer dummy so bear with me. The pattern calls for 11 chains. Done. Then 10 sc for 1st row. Done. Then I have trouble. It says to sc & dc in 1st stitch, skip 2, and repeat across and you should have 10 stitches. I only have 8. I have done this twice. What am I doing wrong? I would send you the link but I lost it trying to get here. Can you help me?
Your first sc and dc go into the first stitch, skip the 2nd and 3rd stitch, the next sc/dc goes into the 4th stitch, skip the 5th and 6th stitch, and the next sc/dc goes into the 7th st, skip the 8th and 9th stitch. For your last stitch, you will make a single crochet in the 10th stitch.
