Now let’s hear what the designer has to say about why they chose this particular design as a “Make it for Me” project. Wilma says, “Many of us experience enormous cold at the moment. Also here in Europe it’s freezing! I needed an item to keep me warm both inside and outside. The Connected Bows Shawl is my very first pattern of 2018. I tried to make the shawl as simple as possible and added a little detail in the middle. The simplicity makes it a fun project for beginners too. For this shawl is I used a hand dyed yarn cake from Austria and love how the colors change automatically from grey to pink.”
