It’s time to kick off Day 4 of the “Make it for Me” projects! You’ve survived the holidays and now It’s Time for You! For the entire month of January, I will bring you FREE patterns from amazing designers in the crochet industry. One of the great parts of “Make it for Me” is the designer will tell you exactly what that project means to him/her and why it is considered perfect for you too! Take a few minutes to check it out and decide if this crochet pattern is the one that you’ll dedicate to make for yourself. If this is your first time here, you can find out the details about how “Make it for Me” works HERE. Be sure to scroll all the way down because I have an announcement of a local “Make it for Me” event in my home town!
Probably one of the most stunning projects out there in the crochet community! The stitching and yarn is simply amazing. Jessie from Jessie at Home chose the Askew Wrap as the perfect “Make it for Me” project. She said, “The Askew Wrap is one of my favorite handmade items to wear out. Every time I do, I get so many compliments, and many people are genuinely surprised to learn that I made it myself, and I didn’t purchase it at a store. It can be worn in many ways, and just makes me feel good when I wear it! I hope it brings you as much joy as it has brought me!!”

I have been doing looming chrocheting and knitting for a bit my Q IS how do I change colours while doing one of these 3 ? Thank you
Kathy Lashley says
To make a color change at the end of a row, you will complete the stitch with 2 loops left remaining on the hook and with your new color, pull through both loops and complete the stitch. If you were working a double crochet stitch, start the stitch as normal but when you have two loops left remaining….that’s when you pull through the new color and complete the double crochet stitch. Hope this helps.
