I’m just like everyone else and sometimes want to crochet a simple project. I know how much everyone loves my poncho, so I designed the Southern Spring Fling! I visited my local yarn shop for one of the last times because Jan is moving to Florida, so I bought this yarn. I’m so sad to see her go! If you love the look of the yarn, you can find it at the Skein Shop. Don’t forget the Skein Shop has free shipping for U.S. residents too!
The yarn is called the Juniper Moon Farm Zooey yarn and with the cotton and linen blend which makes for a very light weight project! There is “texture” to the yarn too. I’m not sure I would say true “roving” but there are some thicker and thinner places in the yarn which I love.
Please Favorite or Queue in Ravelry!
If you love to crochet while watching television or riding in a car…..here’s the project for you! It’s super simple and you really just keep repeating one round until you’ve reached your desired size. Once you reach that point, you’ll add the simple edging stitch!
The pattern is going to broken down into 2 parts. I’ll be giving you the instructions for the body of the pattern in this blog post, so we’ll call it Part One. Part two will include the edgings you see at the top and bottom of the project!
