So many of you have asked if I had a symbol diagram for the Southern Diamonds Shawl pattern, and NOW I do! I know that many of you are like me with being a visual learner. Sometimes it’s easier to “see” where the stitches belong rather than reading the instructions. I hope this will help some of you accomplish your goal of finishing the CAL with me and all the other ELK Studio Crocheters. Join us in the group if you haven’t already and you can become an “elkie” like everyone else. <insert laugh>
The symbol diagram will take you from Rows 1-11. I really feel that will be enough content to allow you to see how the stitches should be within your pattern! I hope you enjoy!
As always, I’ve given you a right and left-handed version of the Southern Diamonds Shawl Symbol Diagram!

I hope you enjoy this symbol diagram along with all the other patterns found on my site!

What type of yarn and hook would you use?

Hi Kim! There are links to the written pattern where I provide the information. You can find them by clicking on the Southern Diamonds Main Page! I hope this helps!
