While looking through my free hat patters the other day, I thought it would be fun to have a matching infinity scarf to Kodey’s Beanie! You’ll see that I made this scarf with 3 colors but using two looks great also like I used in the main photo of the beanie! I thought it was fitting to crochet the scarf in Halloween colors since it right around the corner, but I can definitely picture it as a Christmas scarf too with the vibrant red/green/white color combination! What do you think? What 3 colors would you choose?

- Round 3 – White
- Round 4 – Tangerine
- Repeating the color sequence on Rounds 2-4 for rounds 5-13.

Tips: The stitches for this hat are staggered, so if you notice at the end of a round I’ll say, “Join by sl st” but also tell you to “Join by sl st” in the beginning of a round too. Don’t forget to do the second sl st or your hat won’t look quite the way you had hoped! The cluster stitches will not stack on top of each other on each round but will be staggered as in the photo above.
I’ll also tell you to crochet “between” the two hdc. Picture it like this…. hdc (crochet here) hdc. (Are you laughing yet?) I know this part of the pattern has stumped some people on the hat. It could be there will be a video coming out to help with this tricky area in the near future. So stay tuned!
