On Monday I released the Mountain Mist Beanie and thought it would be fun to have a matching scarf, and I’ll admit that I’m very happy with how it turn out too. What do you think about it? I’d love to hear your opinion.
Let me give a big ole’ thank you to Wendy from The Hooked Haberdasher for sending me this yummy yarn! She sent it to me several months ago, and I’ve finally had the time to work with it. The brand is Patons Decor which is 75% Acrylic and 25% wool! The feel of the yarn is wonderful and slid through my hands so nicely. There wasn’t any splicing problems and gave great stitch detail to the project. I would definitely recommend it! Thank you once again Wendy! You should check out her Facebook page too and tell her she has great taste in yarn!
Okay, so if you’ve click on the Mountain Mist Beanie link then you may notice a difference in the look of the pattern. Yep, I changed up the color scheme and if you follow me, you know I love to do see what happens when changing color scheme. Look at Morning Frost or Mystic Beanie for instance and you’ll see what I mean. Anyway, If you love this pattern sequence, no worries, I’ve given to color changes to you at the bottom of the beanie blog post too. Of course they will be on here but you won’t have to jump back and forth…I’ve take care of that for you!

I love your Mountain Mist scarf pattern 🙂 I would like to make it a bit longer to double wrap…what would you suggest the starting chain length should be?

Mountain Mist doing as regular scarf but am stuck at Round 5 – when you start fpdc is this on the 1st V stitch that you do both fpdc around each post in this 1st V stitch – then just continue same across?…pls email me with thanks….had to leave it for now….Jan 5th (mar.rob@shaw.ca)

Marilyn,
The Mountain Mist scarf was written to work in the round and would need to be re-written entirely to work in rows. I’m not able to do this right now. Thanks for understanding.

Benes,
I’m sorry. I’ve updated the pattern to reflect that you should start with color A.
Thank you.
